The U.S. Senate Indian Affairs Committee will conduct an oversight hearing on Indian gaming at 9:30 AM, Thursday, July 29, in Room 628 Dirksen Senate Office Building. The hearing will examine priorities established by the new leadership of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) in areas including the NIGC’s regulatory role, staffing, budget, plans for consultation and training and technical assistance to tribes.
