Legislative Hearing to Receive Testimony on the Following bills: S. 943, S. 1223, and S. 1285

·         S. 943, A bill to direct the Secretary of the Interior to conduct an accurate comprehensive student count for the purposes of calculating formula allocations for programs under the Johnson-O’Malley Act, and for other purposes;

·         S. 1223, A bill to repeal the Klamath Tribe Judgment Fund Act;

·         S. 1285, A bill to allow the Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of Oregon, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians to lease or transfer certain lands.
