U.S. Senator Daniel K. Akaka (D-Hawaii), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, will hold a business meeting followed by a legislative hearing on October 20, 2011, at 2:15 p.m., in room 628 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building. The purpose of the hearing is to learn about the legislation from the affected parties and the Administration so the Committee can determine future action to take on the bills.
