Dorgan and Barrasso Announce Additional Indian Energy Roundtables

WASHINGTON DC –

Senator Byron L. Dorgan (D-ND), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs, and Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), Vice Chairman of the Committee, announced the scheduling of three additional Indian Energy Roundtables to discuss the Senators’ Indian Energy and Energy Efficiency Concept Paper. Staff-led roundtables will be held:

The first two staff-led roundtables were held in Bismarck, North Dakota, on September 17th and Denver, Colorado, on September 18th.

On September 10, 2009, the Committee released an Indian Energy and Energy Efficiency Concept Paper and invited tribal leaders, energy partners, and other stakeholders to Indian Energy Roundtables to discuss the paper. The concept paper and additional information is available at the link below.
